ExcellentEasy read and Ioved it。 The ending was not what I expected, but it was a perfect way to end it
Kara,
I felt like this one fell short of the hype。 It lost steam half way through for me。 Entertaining。。 But I was waiting for more that didn't necessarily come。 I felt like this one fell short of the hype。 It lost steam half way through for me。 Entertaining。。 But I was waiting for more that didn't necessarily come。 。。。more
Lisa Thor,

Original and riveting thriller。 One of those authors you will definitely need to follow!!
Anna Myers,
really enjoyed this book! not 5/5, but it was an easy to read mystery without a lot of dark twistyness that will keep you up at night
Hallie,
"The Last Thing He Told Me" was a thoughtful mystery with a slow burn that got better as the story went on。 While there was decent character development, the plot carried the story for me。 An interesting, unpredictable read that, if you give it a chance, will have you quickly turning pages towards the middle/end to get to the root of what's going on。 "The Last Thing He Told Me" was a thoughtful mystery with a slow burn that got better as the story went on。 While there was decent character development, the plot carried the story for me。 An interesting, unpredictable read that, if you give it a chance, will have you quickly turning pages towards the middle/end to get to the root of what's going on。 。。。more

This was a great story- original premise, good pace。 It was hard to put down。 I just didn’t think it was well told。 I think a different editor could have made this book go from good to amazing。
Abigale,
I really enjoyed this book! There were surprises, up and downs, and an ending that was disappointing but also really good! I thought about the book while I was waiting to be able to read it again! You won’t be disappointed!
Mary Fenlon,
Wow! What a page turner! FIVE STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️There are no words for how great this book is。 The twists and turns, the thought provoking statements about life, the way I couldn't stop reading because I had to know what was happening。 Do yourselves a favor and read this。 You won't be sorry! Katy Kauffman,
Wavering between a 4 and a 5。 Will let it sit for a few days and see。 Love the ending - heartbreaking。 A little slow to start, but the intrigue builds into a subtle and yet palpable climax。 It’s nice to read a book that is adult without gratuitous sex, violence, and foul language。 Thinking I will probably come back and realtor it a 5。

This was such a well-planned book。 It kept me on my toes, and I enjoyed reading it。
Cynthia,
Hannah’s husband disappears one morning leaving few clues as to why he’s fled。 Now Hannah and her step-daughter have to figure out who their husband/dad really is and what he’s running from。 I thought this was a fast paced domestic mystery with an interesting spin。
Jennifer,
I couldn’t put this book down。 It reeled me in right from the beginning and every time I thought about putting the book down, it kept sucking me back in。 Amazing story!

Such a great book! I had read so many great reviews about this book, so I was pleasantly surprised when the book held up to the reviews。 I won't give any spoilers but my favorite part about this book was the relationship between Hannah and Bailey, the evolution of what of their relationship throughout the entire book warmed my heart。 Highly recommend giving this book a read。 Such a great book! Different story formatting from many fiction writers novels。 I thoroughly enjoyed how Laura Dave's short flashbacks of no more than 2 pages to make critical points, as compared to many stories with flashbacks that use 10 to 20 pages to make something insignificant。Great story, excellent concise characterizations, to the point, the perfect few twists that kept me reading the entire novel。 The ending for me was uplifting even though a few readers said it was sad。 I take what is in front of me at f Different story formatting from many fiction writers novels。 I thoroughly enjoyed how Laura Dave's short flashbacks of no more than 2 pages to make critical points, as compared to many stories with flashbacks that use 10 to 20 pages to make something insignificant。Great story, excellent concise characterizations, to the point, the perfect few twists that kept me reading the entire novel。 The ending for me was uplifting even though a few readers said it was sad。 I take what is in front of me at face value and optimistically more forward, and this story's end for me was exactly right-on。 。。。more

PHEWWW this book was a doozy。 Solid plot with lots of wtf moments。 The writing style wasn’t really my vibe but it didn’t take away too much from the story。

Shawna,
How many times can this author write “that stops me” HOW MANY TIMES?! A distractingly annoying amount of times, that’s how many。 I didn’t like her writing technique at all。 Or Hannah as a character OR her narration。 The story starts out pretty interesting but quickly turns into an unbelievable mess。 Sorry, but I feel like a 16 year old who is that close to her father would actually choose to be placed into witness protection if it meant seeing him again。 It was all so silly to me that Hannah cho How many times can this author write “that stops me” HOW MANY TIMES?!
